SO HOW'D IT GO?

For dal I wasn't sure about this.. but I wanted to use up lentils to go with my Easy Palak Alu, and had all the other stuff. Grabbed some chopped veggies already on hand, cooked them in oil with the garbanzos and spice mix, then added in the rest. My measurements were off, didn't have as much lentils but it was easy to balance out. On the spices I added to the blend from my other dish(the cumin was a nice addition) and also used black salt.
It came out pretty good, not extremely wonderful but not bad at all. I like that it's a versatile base, I'll probably try it again with more lentils but will have to freeze some since that will make a LOT. This looks like it's been here and looked over for a long time, but it's worth a try. ;)
