Low Key Hot Cereal

What you need:

1/2 cup cooked rice
1/4 cup soymilk
Spices and other flavorings, as desired (I used ginger, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg)
Sweetener of your choice, to taste

What you do:

1) Combine in blender and blend like the wind! Heat if desired.
The recipe makes 1 serving but is easy to double, etc, to make as much as you want.
Seriously, this is the easiest, most versatile recipe of all time. The spice combination I originally used would be great with raisins, cranberries, or apples, and with any kind of nut (pecans sound fab to me right now).
You could also flavor it using coffee syrups or baking essences.
Slice bananas on top, sliver almonds, use vegan chocolate chips or carob, etc, etc. Basically, anything you've got in your cabinet is a great candidate for this cereal.
And a note on rice: I used leftover jasmine, and it was lovely--not weird or anything. So my inclination is that most types should work (Basmati might be a little TOO interesting for me... = / )
Source of recipe: I had some leftover rice and this is what happened!
