Grilled Asparagus

What you need: 

1/4-1/3 cup vegan mayo
2 tablespoons tamari, soy sauce or Bragg's aminos
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon granulated garlic, or fresh, to taste
2 teaspoons dried basil leaf
2 teaspoons dried oregano leaf
1 pound asparagus, woody ends trimmed

What you do: 

1. Whisk together all ingredients except asparagus.
2. Toss asparagus in mixture, grill or broil until it is as done as you like it.
3. Toss grilled asparagus in remaining sauce, if desired.
You could also just grill asparagus with a bit of oil and then toss it, but I like the flavor of it grilled with the sauce. This is excellent on pretty much all grilled vegetables, or tempeh. Also makes a tasty salad dressing.
