Ghetto Curried Tofu Slabs

What you need: 

1 pound firm tofu, sliced
splash soy sauce
curry powder, to taste
1 clove garlic, chopped, optional

What you do: 

1. Put tofu in a microwave bowl and heat up for about 1 1/2 minutes.
2. Put a splash of soy sauce in with the tofu and as much curry as you want.
3. Add in the garlic, if using. Microwave for 2-3 more minutes, and enjoy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

i found that squeezing the tofu first helped alot with the texture, helped the soy absorb more. used chile powder instead of curry but it rocked. i'd imagine pequin chilis powdered would work even better if you're a masochist.

very delicious and easy. they were salty though, but that's a good thing!

This recipe was so amazing for how simple it was.  Usually when you make tofu you have to marinate it for years.  Not here though! Delicious!! ;)
