Delicious "Icy-Hot" Tea

What you need:

1 cup water
1 teaspoon dried ginger root
1 teaspoon dried peppermint leaves (you can choose another mint if you wish)

What you do:

Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a kettle (or microwave for 3 minutes on high). Pour into mug. Steep peppermint and ginger root in the hot water for five minutes. Enjoy!
I like to play around with my teas and mix them, and I have to say that this is one of my favorites. It has the spicy kick of ginger, but then the peppermint comes in and cools the throat (hence "icy-hot"). The peppermint also adds some flavor to the ginger root, which aside from its spice is a tad bland as tea.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

i wonder, can i use dried ground ginger?

I don't see why not but you may want to use a 1/2-teaspoon instead (estimating here). I'll have to try this with lime juice sometime (I love lime).
