Cold Cake

What you need: 

200 g butter/margarine
200 g sugar
3 tablespoon water
3 tablespoon cocoa powder
400 g sweet biscuits/plain cookies - crumbled
300 g walnuts chopped small
1 egg substitute - beaten to form a light foamed substance
1 teaspoon vanilla
juice of 1/2 lemon

What you do: 

In a pan mix sugar, butter/margerine and water and bring to a boil and mix to a homogeneous mass. Add vanilla, lemon juice, egg replacer.
Add to mixture crumbled biscuits, chopped walnuts. And stir to a doughy mass.
Pour dough onto a very lightly greased cookie sheet and refrigerate for a couple of hours till firm.
Goes nicely with tea.
