What you do:

1. Cook quinoa and water in a pan. Cook, covered until all the quinoa has absorbed the water, about 15 minutes.
2. Once the quinoa is all done, add the agave and cocoa and mix well.
3. Serve with fruit, nuts or nondairy milk, if you want.
Enjoy!!!
Source of recipe: I wanted to do something new with quinoa and I felt like something sweet so this is what I came up with. It tastes a lot liike chocolate rice cereal.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This was so easy and delicious!! I added a little extra agave and vanilla soy milk! Yummy!!

This was excellent for breakfast! I am diabetic, so I only made one serving (1/4 cup dry quinoa). I used a serving of Ghiradelli semisweet chips instead of cocoa powder and agave.

I'm eating this now as a dessert (though I think it's much better suited for breakfast!). I had to add a bunch more syrup than in the recipe, but maybe that's just because I like it to be a little more soup-y. I also added more cocoa powder than mentioned & a generous helping of cinnamon.

Also, I used red quinoa instead of the regular stuff. (It has more protein & less fat, and the taste is a little bit heartier, too. Try it if you've never tried it before!) But I think this would be good with any grain... rice, couscous, oats, etc.

:)>>> i'M SO GLAD YOU LIKE IT!!!

I have it at least once a week. And bananas are pretty awesome with this too.
It's a grate little snack before or even after a really good workout. If you come up with any twists for this let me know. But I think its amazing the way it is.
