Chocolate Icey

What you need:

3 to 4 tablespoon cocoa
2 cups ice
1/3 cup almonds (optional)
2 tablespoon maple syrup
3 squirts liquid Stevia (or 2-3 more tablespoon maple syrup)
less than a cup of water
1/2 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

What you do:

Blend ice and [optional] almonds together with water. Add cocoa, sweeteners, and vanilla. Blend until frothy. Sip up this delightful chocolatey icey!
Note: almonds may be best added close to the end of blending so that they are not completely pulverized. When they're completely chopped the icey may be too gritty and not icey-like enough. The almonds are definitely an added plus though.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I'm drinking this as I type - it's really good. I added a little bit of vanilla soy milk instead of water and a couple tablespoons of sugar instead of syrup (we ran out a couple days ago) This is a nice way to fight off the heat and I'll definitely be making it again  :) Thanks!
