Arrowroot Tooth Powder

What you need:

1/2 cup Arrowroot powder
1/4 cup baking soda
3 tablespoons sea salt
5-10 drops peppermint essential oil

What you do:

Mix all ingredients together well. Dip wet toothbrush in powder and brush teeth, gums, and tongue thoroughly.
Arrowroot powder got its name from Native Americans who used it to heal arrow wounds.
We've been using this tooth powder for a year now and our dentist says our teeth have never been healthier or stronger.
Other essential oils could be used for a non-minty mix.
Enjoy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Be careful using baking soda for teeth brushing...it can be quite abrasive.

Thank you!  I am going to go out and buy me some arrowroot powder - no more toothpaste tubes in the landfills!

Just whipped this up and I love the way it makes my mouth feel, but does anyone know the role each of these ingredients plays in healthy teeth?
Thanks :)

This sounds interesting.  Does the peppermint overpower the salty taste? I tried some organic toothpaste with sea salt in a while back and the taste made me puke  :-\
