Antioxidant-y Veggie Smoothie

What you need:

frozen:
2 cups frozen or fresh spinach
3 stalks kale
1/2 cup blueberries
1 tangerine or 1/2 large orange
1/2 cup soymilk or orange juice
optional- soy protein powder
ground flax seed

What you do:

Rinse all fruits and vegetables. Add kale, spinach and milk/juice to blender, blend thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients, blend. If you find the blueberries and orange aren't enough to sweeten, try increasing the amount of fruit (or experiment with your favorite fruit! I'd like to try this with mango..) you may also add your favorite sweetener to taste.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This sounds so good

I am new here and to the whole vegan lifestyle. My girlfriend is vegan and as I love to cook and have homemade food and to bake and all that I started uping the amount of vegan recipes. I am however wanting to find out if other fruit than blueberries work? :-\ I am allergic. I know the point is the antioxidents but can anyone sugest fruit that tastes good and comes close to health wise?

Making for breakfast sound really delish. Although I am not much on ice I did leave out and used frozen blueberries instead. So it did have some chill to it. very very good flavor.
