Water (for boiling)
1/2 Teaspoon Salt (for boiling water)
1 lb Pasta of your choice
1 can Marinated Artichoke Hearts
1/4 lb Olives of your choice (I prefer pitted green large sicilian)
3 Cloves of Garlic
Olive Oil (for frying and coating pasta)
1 1/2 Tablespoons Dried Parsley or 1/8 Cup freshly chopped Parsley
Garlic Salt to taste
(Optional) 1 Tablespoon crushed Red Pepper (Optional)
1.) Bring Enough water for 1 pound of pasta to a boil. - about 5 quarts
2.) Once water is boiling add 1/2 Teaspoon of salt to water.
3.) Add Pasta and cook according to package directions.
4.) While Pasta is cooking add about 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil to a large frying pan and heat to Med/Low.
5.) Cut Olives and Artichoke Hearts into bite size pieces and set aside.
6.) Cut each Garlic Clove in half and sautè the halves untill first signs of browning. (try not to burn it)
7.) Remove Cloves from oil.
8.) Add Cut Olives and Artichoke to oil keeping Med/Low temperature.
9.) Add Parsley to Olive and Artichoke mixture.
10.) By now your Pasta should be done or close to it. Once it's done strain it and add to Olive Artichoke mixture in the frying pan.
11.) Add 1 or 2 more Tablespoons of Olive Oil to Pasta mixture so everything is slightly coated.
12.) Add Garlic Salt to taste.
13.) Heat mixture for 2 minutes to combine flavors.
14.) Remove from heat and enjoy :)

1.) Add Crushed Red Pepper if you like it spicey.
2.) All amounts are are suggested. Play around with it and make it your own!
3.) I usually have my artichokes and Olives chopped while water is boiling to save time :)
