1 cup almonds
1 cup flax seed
1 cup coconut flakes
2 slices vegan bread (like some types of Arnold brand)-end pieces work best
a pinch of sea salt
a good sprinkle of cinnamon
3-4 tablespoons coconut oil
raw sugar or agave syrup as desired
4 cups blackberries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grind together almonds,flax, and coconut flakes in coffee grinder or blender to form a meal.
Tear bread into small pieces and mix in a bowl with the meal, sea salt, cinnamon, coconut oil and if you like it sweet add some sugar or agave to taste.
Mix well with hands.
In a cake pan, loaf pan, or small casserole dish put your layer of blackberries and drizzle with agave or sugar.
Crumble your mixture over blackberries and place in oven.
Bake about 30 minutes, check on it at 25. When it looks nicely browned- remove from oven and let cool.
Enjoy with a spash of your favorite non-dairy milk over the top or even better: a scoop of non-dairy ice cream! mmmmm!
