2 cups nondairy milk (I use soy)
1/4 cup agave nectar or maple syrup
4 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup wheat gluten
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons yeast
1/2 cup sunflower seeds, optional
1. Add ingredients to bread maker in the order listed (except sunflower seeds; reserve them).
2. Once machine is kneading the dough, check to see if a bit of extra water or flour is needed (dough should form a smooth ball).
3. If desired, add sunflower seeds when the "add beep" beeps. Let the bread rest for 8 hours or so before slicing.
