2 tablespoons hemp seeds
1 cup unsweetened nondairy milk (I use soy)
1/2 cup raspberries (or other berries)
1 banana, chopped and frozen overnight
1 teaspoon ground flax seeds
1. Put the hemp seeds and milk into blender (or into bowl if you're using a hand blender) and allow seeds to soak and soften for 1-2 minutes.
2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until it reaches a smoothie-like, drinkable consistency.
This smoothie contains roughly 17 grams of protein.
