1/2 cup firm tofu
1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise (I use Vegenaise)
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons white vinegar
3 teaspoons garlic powder
3 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
2 teaspoons Bragg's, tamari, or soy sauce
black pepper and salt, to taste
plain unsweetened nondairy milk (I use soy milk)
1. Put all of the ingredients except the milk in a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth.
2. Add milk, and thin to desired consistency.
3. Mix. Taste and adjust flavors to your liking.
Crushed red pepper and/or dill added to this is fantastic, too!
Source of recipe: This recipe is based on various dip recipes I have come across over time. I just tweaked ingredients and halved the fat by using a tofu/mayo blend. The end result is similar to ranch.
