2 cups pecan halves
1/4 cup maple syrup
pinch sea salt
olive oil
1. Preheat oven to 375° F. Rinse the pecans and pat dry. Coat baking sheet with oil, set aside.
2. Mix pecans, maple syrup, and salt in a small bowl. Pour onto baking sheet and spread out evenly. Bake for about 10 minutes, stirring often. Be careful not to burn.
3. Rinse out the bowl, keeping it wet. Transfer the pecans to the bowl and stir every once in awhile to prevent sticking.
Source of recipe: I wanted something "mapley", and I knew that maple and pecans go together well, so I came up with this.
