1 cup vegan beef crumbles
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups black or pinto beans
1 to 2 teaspoons crushed pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, optional
1/2 teaspoon oregano, optional
Throw all of the ingredients into a medium pot and cook on medium-high heat until piping hot (5 to 10 minutes), stirring often.
It's cheap, easy comfort food! It really doesn't get any easier than this, hence the name!
Source of recipe: I came up with this on my own because I had sauce, beans, and crumbles around and thought I could make a really simplified version of chili. At first I was sure I'd be disappointed, but this was honestly some of the best chili I've ever had, and it has about a third of the ingredients of most recipes I've seen.
