2 tablespoos pineapple juice (or any juice you prefer)
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
2 cups sliced strawberries (I set aside 12 slices to top my cupcakes)
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until berries are soft. Mush them up as you stir. Continue to cook until it has a sauce like consistency. Remove from heat and chill. Once completely cooled drizzle over cupcakes (or any dessert you like).
