1 cup sprouted buckwheat (2 days)
3 tablespoon agave nectar (taste it, you may want more)
1 1/2 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/4 cup wheat germ (optional)
1/4 cup ground flax (or whole)
pinch of salt
I saw a recipe for almond milk that had raw cocoa puffs and I haven't been able to get in touch with the person that submitted them. I wanted them so bad, I tried to make up my own recipe and here it is!!
Pulse all ingredients in food processor.
Pinch off balls of dough and place on non stick dehydrator sheets, after a few hours, pinch them smaller. It will be easier the second time.
Dehydrate until as crunchy as you want! Probably overnight or 4-6 hours.
I dried them at 95 so I wouldn't completely kill the wheat germ. But if you don't use wheat germ than try 105. Mine took over night and were still a tad on the soft side. So freaking good though!! I had them in almond milk.
