1 avocado
2 tablespoons raw tahini
1 cup raw cashews
1-1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
pepper, to taste
1/2 cup onion or red pepper, optional
In a bowl, mix avocado and tahini. Put cashews in a food processor until very small. Add cashews and all ingredients to the bowl, mix until creamy. Other nuts could be used, maybe some herbs... this is a basic recipe you can build on. Serve with carrot or celery sticks.
