1/4 cup rice
1/2 cup water
1 cup soy milk
3 tablespoons cane sugar
1 banana
1/4 teaspoon salt
Clean your rice by covering it in a bowl with water and stirring it for a few minutes.
Drain.
Bring the water to a boil and add 1/2 of the salt.
Lower the heat to medium then add the rice and cook for 15 minutes.
Stir the rice and cook another 5 minutes and stir again.
Lower the heat to medium low and let the water dry up (keep an eye on it or the rice will burn).
Bring the soy milk to a slow simmer and add the rice (the rice should be just about cooked fully, but not quite).
Add sugar and as much banana as you like and simmer for 5 to ten minutes.
TASTE!!! If you like a sweeter banana, cook for closer to ten minutes than five in the previous step.
Add salt to taste (I use a pinch here and there).
Simmer for another 2 minutes and eat it while it's hot!
Can be used as a sweet, but we used to eat this for breakfast.

Source of recipe: I ate this all the time when I was young and forgot all about it since becoming vegan. I had the craving to make it for breakfast and it came out better than expected.
