2 cups cooked brown rice
1 16 oz. can black beans
1/4 cup good-quality green salsa
2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
dash curry powder
dash chili powder
Heat the rice and the black beans in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. That's all!
Some tips:
The brown rice is really good if prepared with 1 teaspoon olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon salt! Also, the amounts of the salsa, Tabasco sauce, curry powder, and chili powder can be altered if you like your beans and rice spicier or not as spicy.
Also, this recipe is good cold, hot, plain, or with tortillas!
