2 cups vegetable broth
2 cups water
4 plum tomatoes, chopped (or 1 can of diced tomatoes)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons fresh chopped basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
2 cups kale, chopped
1 cup fresh cabbage, diced
15 oz can great northern beans
16 oz spiral pasta
Bring all ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook till kale and noodles are tender, about 10 minutes.
