1/2 avocado
1/3 banana
1 tablespoon wheat germ, optional
2 tablespoons macadamia or other nut butter
1/4 cup vegan yogurt
1. Mash the avocado and banana, then stir in the wheat germ and nut butter.
2. Fold in the vegan yogurt, and you have a quick and intensely nutritious meal for your solid-food eating baby!
This is my baby boy's standard dinner, even when cranky and over-tired, he happily agrees to eat it all. Try substituting other fruits for the banana; we also like pureed mango, mandarin oranges, kiwi, etc.
