1 banana, cut in rings
2 slices wholegrain bread
vegan margarine
1-2 teaspoons brown sugar (to taste)
5 or 6 walnut meats
Toast the bread, spread with margarine.
Construct sandwich, sprinkling with nutmeats and brown sugar.
I use a wholegrain bread that includes millet and sunflower seeds, which greatly add to the flavor when toasted.
Filling, nutritious and so comforting on difficult days when you want to be "this many years old" again. Yummy.
