5 green tomatoes, sliced
4 teaspoons onion power
4 teaspoons garlic power
4 teaspoons white pepper
3 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons red pepper
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1. Season each slice of tomato with seasoning. Coat each slice with flour. An old southern way of coating is to put flour into a bag and drop pieces or slices into the flour bag, shake bag until each slice is coated.
2. Heat oil for frying. When oil is ready, place each slice into hot oil.
3. Cook until golden brown.
