6 ears fresh yellow corn
1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
1 tablespoon finely chopped green chiles
2 teaspoons margarine
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 cup tomato, chopped
1. Cut corn from cob; scrape cob to remove pulp and milk.
2. Combine corn, onion, green pepper, chiles, margarine and white pepper in saucepan.
3. Cover and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes and cook an additional 10 minutes or until corn is tender, stirring often.'
