Great Marinated Tofu

Ingredients: 

1 block extra firm tofu
half a spanish or purple onion (any sweet onion will do)
3 cloves of garlic
3-4 tablespoons of olive oil
3-5 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Directions: 

Cut the tofu into smaller pieces and add all ingredients together minus the syrup. Let the tofu brown a bit and add the syrup.
Eat this lovely concoction by itself, over brown rice, or cold over a green salad.
