1 16-ounce bag of split peas
2 quarts water
1 8-ounce can vegan chicken broth
1 carrot, chopped
1 potato, chopped
1 stalk of celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1-2 bay leaves
basil, to taste
Throw all ingredients in large pot and cook for 2-3 hours stirring every 30-60 minutes. That's it!
