1 pound squash, cubed (any kind of squash works)
2 large yams, cubed (can also use potatoes or sweet potatoes)
1 small onion, chopped
1 can vegetable broth
salt & pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil. Simmer until tender and puree.
Very yummy comfort food.
If you are not vegan, you can add in sour cream to the recipe.
