1 can tomato soup (and 1 can water as well)
1 can tomato paste
1 lb of burger-style crumbles (I use Morning Star Farms, optional but makes for
better texture)
Chili powder and salt to taste
1 can carrots
1 can mushrooms (or fresh, your choice)
1 can green beans
1 can wax beans
1 can corn (I LOVE Green Giant Nibblets in this)
1 can potatoes, cut into manageable pieces
1 can chili beans
If using the fake ground beef, defrost and crumble...Heat water, soup, paste and chili beans together in a BIG double boiler sized pot and add the fake beef...add some chili powder and salt (if you like salt)...Throw in all the vegetables (be sure and cut up the canned potato) together...If you like, use different vegetables than I mentioned, its all up to what you like...Keep heating and add more chili powder to taste...If its too thick, add a bit more water...
This chili is very easy and very filling and healthy with virtually no fat at all...and you can top with baked tortilla chips for fun...I've made this dish for holiday potlucks and even the non-veggies inhale it...
