16 ounces mostaccioli pasta
1-1/2 cup white vinegar
3/4 cup sugar (I use less)
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 large cucumber, to taste, chopped
1 large red onion, to taste, thinly sliced
tomatoes, to taste, diced
sliced black olives, to taste
1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Rinse under cold water to cool, then drain.
2. In a bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, oil, garlic, parsley flakes, pepper, salt, and mustard; thoroughly whisk.
3. Add pasta; gently toss to coat.
4. Garnish with cucumber, onion, tomatoes, and olives.
