1 red pepper, julienned
1/2 bermuda onion, julienned
2 cups bean sprouts
10 clementine mandarin oranges, segmented
1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 orange, juiced
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1. Toss pepper and onion with sprouts and orange segments.
2. Whisk together vinegar, oil, juice and spices, and pour over salad.
Garnish with orange peel and pepper, arranged to resemble flowers. Great for Christmas potluck parties.
