1 can seasoned field peas with snaps (I prefer Glory Foods, but any will do)
1 cup uncooked rice (instant or quick variety)
Cook the rice according to the instructions. Heat the peas while the rice is cooking. Drain the rice, mix the two together. Easy as that. No extra spices are needed, but you might want to add a pinch of salt. Seasoned black-eyed peas can also be used.
