what to do with cheap (crappy) chocolate?

I bought some store brand dark cooking chocolate for my first attempt at tofu chocolate mousse (I didn't want to buy good chocolate and waste it on something that I wasn't sure of). The mousse turned out ok, but not terribly chocolatey, and some of the chocolate set before it got mixed in. I tasted the chocolate on its own and realized why...it tastes like sweet, slightly chocolatey wax. :-\ So...what do I do with the rest of it? I don't want to waste it. I have about 170g/6oz left.
chocolate glaze (1/3c coconut milk, 1c powdered/icing sugar 1/2c chocolate dip fruit, baked goods, etc)? brownies? sounds like given the consistency, it would be great for a glaze/set icing
Microwave melt it and use it to top oatmeal or similar. Or make "hot chocolate" by adding milk of your choice to the melted mixture, season with cinnamon and clove and some sweetening if it needs it. Or pour it over "icecream."
Chocolate covered pretzels. Or dip dried apricots in chocolate then in chopped pistachios!!!
cake balls!
make a cake (or brownies) and then break em up and pack them into truffle sized balls, let sit in the fridge for a bit then dip in melted chocolate.
or just break it up into bits and add to brownies or cookies?
BTW PG, this same thing happened to me...bought some "store brand" dark chocolate from the "top end" supermarket, and it tastes like paraffin first and a leetle chocolate a long time later. Yet when I buy dark chocolate from LIDL or Aldi, it's chocolate. And half the price for a bar twice as thick.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone! Yabbit, there's an ALDI near me, so if I ever need cheap chocolate again I'll try theirs instead. I definitely won't be buying this brand again. I'd probably have better luck with a chocolate-scented candle (if such a thing exists).

:-D :-D I so hear that!!
Second the suggestion for cake balls. Cheap crappy choc is perfect for dipping them in ;D
If it was me I would just compost it. Composting is never a waste. :)
