Today is my 1 year anniversary of becoming a vegetarian. The last time I ate meat was at my family's Christmas dinner (held on the 26th) of last year. I would just like to say it has not been easy. I was a die hard meat eater before going veg. I slowly weaned myself off of meat by saying good by to all of my favourite meat filled meals the last being a Christmas dinner. 

This year I made vegetarian gravy and stuffing and a vegan veggie loaf it made an excellent replacement for the traditional turkey. I am really proud of myself and I plan on working my way towards becoming vegan over the next few years (not something I feel I can do overnight). I feel better all around and know that from this point forward I am a vegetarian and I am never turning back!
