I don't intend to spark a political debate or anything but I did want to share with everyone about our voice in congress for animals, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, a 2004 presidential candidate and vegan.  He is currently focusing on the humane treatment of farm animals and so I wanted to share an article about this issue, especially for those of you who are veg*ns for animal rights.  www.kucinich.us  enjoy!

Why do so many people think dogs and cats can feel pain and they feel it is perfectly fine to torture and mistreat farm animals  :'(

stride4unity , thank you for the link!  This makes me feel hopeful in terms of the cruel treatment to farm animals.

The ultimate goal may be to eliminate animals from human diet, but humane treatment for farm animals may be a great starting point.
