new vegan finds!

i'd like to start a thread of new things you happen across or discover that are vegan. i browse around in the grocery store quite a bit, reading labels, and sometimes find some pretty interesting and surprising vegan foods!
so anyway, one i found this weekend is....banana babies! they're from diana's bananas and the dark chocolate ones are vegan. they're just frozen bananas dipped in chocolate, but..mmmm. the chocolate is a tiny bit waxy, but all in all, i thought it was a pretty good find.
also, many of marie calendar's fruit pies are vegan as well, which is awesome for a yummy, fatty dessert when i don't feel like making one, haha...
anyone else been finding something cool and yummy?
For anyone in Oz, I found a gluten free and vegan Wostershire sauce..
i actually found a vegan wostershire sauce for the first time EVER at food fair of all places (not my usual store) but for some stupid reason i didn't buy it. oh well, at least i know it's there if i desperately need it for some random recipe.
I found a vegan worcestershire sauce at my HFS in the last couple years and I adore it-- can't remember the brand, but it has a wizard on it. It is really really tasty-- even just on greens or cooked vegetables.
Yeah, that's the one I have too. Shit rules!
;D Wizard's is the brand name. I like it, three.

I believe Oz is the nickname for Australia.
Really?? Wow. I don't think that I've heard that..IDIOT!!!
So, that just happens to be the nickname...and the brand happens to be "Wizard"??
I thought that they were using the term, "anyone in Oz" as in anyone not-in-the-cool-places-they-sell-veg-wostershire (not that i like the stuff...wostershire, blegh)
like you know, kind of like "for anyone that's been living on Mars..."
or am I tooootttallly off here? I hope someone else has heard it used that way too...?

Ha, we're going to have to hear from missmeow for the verdict, but I'm pretty sure she meant that for fellow Aussies, a gluten-free/vegan worcestershire sauce exists on their continent. You guys are making this waaaay too complicated. :)
:-D
I haven't checked this thread since posting.. You guys crack me up!
So, I am Dorothy, and my mates Lion and Toto love us some Wostershire sauce on our tofu steaks..
No really, 'Oz' refers to 'Australia'. See, when we say 'Aus' or 'Aussie' our accent makes the S sound like a Z. So for you guys to pronounce it like we do, it would be spelled 'Auzzie', which ends up sounding like 'Ozzzie', and in Australia we are a rather lazy bunch (hence why we are now the fattest nation in the world), so we like to abbreviate our words to as short as possible (3 letters in 'Aus' was too long, so we use 'Oz' which has only 2)... Make sense?
Oh and FYI to any 'Oz' folk, the brand is 'Spring Gully' and I found it at Coles.. :-*
i don't know if goddess dressing is always vegan, but the trader joes version is and it's only 1.99. (i've never tried any goddess dressing but i've noticed a few ppl on here rave about it)
i'll add the vegan chocolate skittles to this thread too... so good & i found them at target
seriously, propinecone? I went all the way to Spain to get vegan skittles (ok, that's not why I went, but I brought back 10 packs with me... now I have only 1 left) and it turns out there are vegan skittles in the U.S.?! I must investigate this further. Rainbow Skittles are my favorite. :D
well the rainbow skittles I've seen here have gelatin, and personally I thought the chocolate ones sucked much arse. :o
chocolate skittles!!!! can you find them in Canada :o ???
Most fruit pies and cobblers are vegan.
A lot of generic cookies are also vegan.
Zatarains rice mixes (not the kind in the microwaveable pouch).
Uncle Ben's Ready Rice in some flavors are vegan.
Bolthouse Farms Chai Soymilk protein drink (not the exact name, but its in a beige-ish bottle.
Del Monte Harvest Selection beans and rice (its nasty though)
Ramen noodles without the flavor pouch
some Grean and Blacks chocolate bars.
hershey's (sugar free one, at least) chocolate syrup is vegan! yayy
GNU flavor+fiber bars, not too suprising since they are all fruit and grains, but still. I'm glad they are because they come in falvors like Chocolate brownie. :)>>>
i was doing this like craazy this summer bc i was out of my comfort zone which mostly just means i eat a crap ton of produce and cookies. uhm i will have to agree with the sweedish fish and sourpatch. also WHAT i can not believe chocolate skittles are vegan. sounds nasty, but i'll have to try them just because they are. what else did i find? can't remember.. i contribute nothing, as always *bows*
Zatarains rice mixes (not the kind in the microwaveable pouch).
Zatarain's dirty rice mix + browned gimmelean sausage = yum (if you don't mind a ton of salt!)
Ok, so I had to go out and get my hands on the chocolate Skittles. Lucky me, they are on sale this week at CVS! They absolutely do not compare to the original fruit Skittles, but being the candy love that I am, I enjoyed them nevertheless. It's all about the texture- the chewy inside and the crisp shell.
Another thing that I recently noticed is vegan is a lot of pudding mixes. Totally bad for you, but quick and delish. It says to add 2 cups of milk, but with soymilk it works better to use less than that. I was craving a frozen sweet treat, so I put some of the pudding in the freezer and it turned into a delicious fudgcicle-like consistency. Yummmm. I'll be doing that again :)
pudding?! :o i must find some vegan pudding (that's not the crazily expensive kind that they sell at the hfs).

Yeah, I've bought Jello instant chocolate pudding and Royal instant chocolate pudding. I just did a search to make sure they're really vegan and they're listed on the peta site, so I will take their word for it. http://www.peta.org/accidentallyVegan/VeganShoppingQS-Baking.asp?Category=Baking
I don't know if anyone wrote this vet, but some pop tarts are vegan. Look for ones that don't have frosting.
