A friend of mine recently started this company, JimmyBar Energy Bars. The bars are all-natural, vegan, gluten-free, and delicious. They are currently available in stores in Chicago and New York and online at www.jimmybars.com

However, I found this statement a little alarming: "We use locally sourced, good-for-you ingredients like dates, apples, almonds, walnuts, cinnamon, vanilla, honey and bananas." Many vegans consider honey to be a no-no. I love to support small companies, but I'm a little bummed to see honey on something marketed as vegan. :(
I am definitely a huge fan of the energy bars here. They will definitely give you a boost when you try them. So good to use before a workout here.
