"Two Truths, One Lie" Game

Simple rules: Post 3 things about yourself, 2 of which are true and one is not true. The person who posts after you has to try to figure out which is not true.
I'll go first. Where's my not-true?

1. In London Heathrow, I once found myself nearly on a plane to Abu Dhabi instead of the flight to Spain I needed to be on. A BA employee had misdirected me, and only because the stewardess caught it did I get where I needed to be just in time.

2. I dated a warlock in college, who gave me a silver bracelet to wear. When I decided to break up with him, I removed the bracelet, which broke and burned my wrist. I still have the scars.

3. I've lived in Sevilla for 30 years and never once gone up the Giralda Tower.

pm:
1) You're emo-esque, so you might go there.
LOL!! Yes, I used to be so depressed that I'd do stupid shit. Emo-esque? HAHAHA! I'm in touch with my emotions, yes.
2) Did you mention this before?  I think so, but I don't know if you've hated the comment.
Not sure if it's been mentioned. But, no, I actually love this comment.
3) We all selectively represent (depending on the sitch), but no?
I've never lied about anything on VegWeb but have kept things to myself. jessimaka33 even commented at her apartment that I was who I said I was. :)

I'll go with #2, because maybe you didn't hate the comment.

So you win! :)

2.) I take frequent trips to NYC.

I pick this as a lie.

Minke - I'm going with #2 because of the word frequent.

Correct! I may live in NY but I hate NYC! The last time I went there was maybe 6 years ago. I used to live in Vermont, on a mountain surrounded by other mountains.

Dessie!  You made it too hard!  I remember you like history a lot, but aren't a history major because you don't know what they do.  Your post made me chuckle, so I remember it.

Anyway, #3 (short) is the lie, I think.

I'm 5'9. in reality, I'm not THAT tall, but I'm definitely taller than all the females I know.

"I don't think you should talk about that (a rent-controlled apartment). It's like people who brag because they're tall." (You've Got Mail.)

May I play?

1. I was bitten by a dolphin once.
2. I've never crossed the Mason-Dixon line.
3. I cannot see 3-D effects in movies.

I'm going with 2 as your lie, Storm. I dunno why. But if you live in FL you have at least had the opportunity to be dolphin-bit, and I can't see 3D effects, either.

I guess that was too easy!  Yes, it's #2, though I didn't cross the Mason Dixon line until I was 35.  I have two scars on my fingers from being bitten by Sunset Sam, a dolphin at the Clearwater Marine science center.  In his defense, it was an accident.  I was feeding him and was holding the fish too low and CHOMP!
