gluten free sandwich bread? (Gluten Free - General Guidance)

Does anyone have any recipes for gluten free, lactose free sandwich bread? Preferably for a bread machine.
My husband is gluten and lactose intolerent, but he loves sandwiches. I would really like to stop buying the $5 loaf of rice bread at the health food store, since it only last a few days. I have tried a few out of the box breads and not been happy with the results. Everything I've found online so far is for fancy breads (dessert, pancakes, muffins), or has dairy in the recipe.
Please help!

Go to Amazon.com. Look up Gluten-Free bread and you should find a wonderful book there, can't remember the name of it, but she has several GF baking books. THEY ARE NOT VEGAN, but they do include hints for bread machine. Of note, they rely heavily on something called Garfava flour which is pricey, but I think it is worth it given the promises of what I have read. I have not gone in for all that bread baking and have stuck to cooked "safe" grains instead for now.
I am guessing you mean Bette Hagman's books. They are very good. They are not vegan, but she does offer hints for adapting recipes with egg replacer, and explains which recipes may "veganize" better than others.
I have "The Gluten-Free Gourmet Bakes Bread" and thought it was pretty good. I remember the bagels and pizza crust turning out particularly well. Also there are probably at least 50 sandwich bread recipes in it, so you can probably find one you like.

I found the book you are talking about online, I'm going to try & find it at a local bookstore before giving my $ to amazon though. With over 200 recipes I should be able to turn at least one of them diary-free.
