My sister had to put Opal down on Saturday. I just heard this a few minuets ago. I'm sad but I do not think its fully hit me yet.Probably when I'm alone tonight,it will and I will cry and that will be good. Elle and Opal were moving up to Maine on the 7th and they were going to spend the night with me here in Connecticut. I was looking forward to getting to say goodbye to Opal (if thats even the right expression for it, "look forward" sounds too happy.) But Opal was in too much pain and Elle did not want her to suffer anymore so she had to let the vet help her out of her body.

I believe in heaven..so I think Opal is there, in a body that does not hurt anymore, with all my other animals who have passed on. And that my Grandma and Grandpa (who loved animals here on earth) are loving on them until I'm  reunited with them......so that thought helps but it is still so so sad to have lost little Opal. She really was a sweet little doggie.

My sister is upset, but she seemed like she is handling it okay. She could use your thoughts, positive energy or prayers. Shes pushed her move back to the 16th....so I wont see her 'till then. We both really wanted to thank those of you who helped with donations to help give Opal pain medication in these past few weeks and those of you who had us in your thoughts and prayers.
