Description:
Compassionate Action for Animals was founded in 1998 to inspire respect for animals and promote vegetarianism through outreach, education, and community building. CAA has been a pioneer in animal activism with its focus on non-violenence and educational outreach, as well as the first organization in the US to conduct an 'open rescue' and investigation of a factory farm (Michael Foods). CAA's headquarters are in the Twin Cities, with an office in Minneapolis on the University of Minnesota campus. The group is open to all individuals in the area and nationally–whether you are a student or community member. |
