I used raw sugar and a bit of agave.
Didn't quite have the richness or chewiness I'm used to, but if you drop the pre-conceived definition of brownies, they're amazing.

I am making this now with sweet potato, onion, garlic, agave, cinnamon, cardamom, salt&pepper, and cayenne. It almost smells like thanksgiving in here :).
