DalVeg added a comment on the recipe Southwest Flax Crackers:
I don't have a dehydrator yet, so I baked these in the oven.  They didn't get quite crisp enough (they turned out more like pita bread), but they are still flavorful.
DalVeg added a comment on the recipe Tangy-Sweet Red Cabbage:
I didn't have raisins on hand so I chopped up some dates.  With such simple ingredients, I was surprised at how the cabbage took on such good sweet and sour flavoring.  I'll be try
DalVeg added a comment on the recipe Peanut Butter and Chocolate Oatmeal :
I made this for dinner the only night (I was craving something sweet :) ).  I didn't have maple syrup, so I mashed a banana into the oatmeal instead.  Yum!
DalVeg added a comment on the recipe Amazing "Honey" Dijon Mustard Dressing:
I also omitted the corn syrup.  This dressing tasted just like Subway's honey mustard that I ate in my pre-vegan days.  I served it over salad, but I think it would be awesome on a sand
DalVeg added a comment on the recipe Baked Chimichangas :
Made these again and followed the recipe, including the rice.  I have to say that this is one of my absolute favorite VegWeb recipes!
DalVeg added a comment on the recipe Grilled Avocado Sandwich:
Not bad.  With enough salt, this sort-of resembled a grilled cheese.
DalVeg added a comment on the recipe Jake's Scrambled Eggs:
Made this again, but this time I added some plain yellow mustard to the mix.  A nice, tangy addition!
DalVeg added a comment on the recipe Jake's Scrambled Eggs:
Made this for lunch. Reminded me very much of scrambled eggs. However, I didn't get the bright yellow color as shown in the pictures posted for this recipe. Hmmmm...
DalVeg added a comment on the recipe Acorn Squash Fries (Baked):
I just wanted to add that I whenever I make these (and I make them a lot) I always leave the skin on.  The skin gets really soft during the baking and doesn't taste much like anything.

Made these last night.  AMAZING.  My new "french fry" of choice.
