Veggie Burgers

What you need: 

1 box of couscous
1 can garbanzo beans
1 can black beans
1/4 cup egg substitute
1/2 cup of bread crumbs or flax seed
optional: spinach, shred carrots, onions, pine nuts, etc.
salt and pepper, to taste

What you do: 

Cook couscous according to directions on box. In a big bowl mash garbanzo bean and black beans. Add cooled off couscous, egg substitute, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Add any of the optional ingredients. Mix together. Shape into patties. Cook in pan with oil or Pam spray.
The nice thing about these burgers is you can change them every time you make them. Add different seasoning or try adding garlic or chili powder. They are good with bread or plain. I like them with sprouts and tomatoes! They are fun to make.
