Vegan Stroganoff

What you need:

1 12 oz. bag harvest burgers for recipes
2-3 tablespoon oil
½ cup flour
2 cups mocha mix non-dairy creamer (vegan)
1 cup sour supreme (vegan form of sour cream)
salt and pepper
cooked plain pasta

What you do:

Pour the oil into a pan and allow it to get hot. Add the entire bag of harvest burgers for recipies. Continually stir it around until its cooked.
Sprinkle the flour on top and mix it in well. Continue stirring for 2 minutes.
Add the mocha mix and stir well.
(The consistancy will be pretty liquidy but it will thicken later on.) Turn the heat off and stir in the sour supreme.
The more this sits out, the more it will thicken so try to get it into your tummy or into tupperware soon after its done!
Flavor to taste with salt and pepper- I generally like alot of fresh ground pepper on mine.
Bon appetit!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I had really bad luck with this recipe both times I made it.

The first time was totally my fault, I used vanilla soy milk instead of plain.... and well... it smelled something like a dessert sausage. My husband tried it for me... but I couldn't even try it.

The second time I made it, using the right stuff this time, it turned out ok... but not amazing.  It tasted more like sausage and gravy than stroganoff.  I'm not sure what I did wrong but it was just way to bland.  I might be tempted to try again, because in his pre-veg life my husband was a hamburger helper stroganoff junkie, but I would have to change something about it.
