Tomato Cream Cheese Spread

What you need: 

8 oz vegan cream cheese
1 lb can stewed tomatoes, drained and squeezed of all liquid possible
3 tablespoon thinly sliced green onions-green and white parts
1 teaspoon ground cumin, more or less as desired
few drops bottled hot sauce-to taste

What you do: 

Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix well. Chill.
Serve with toasted bagels, melba toast, vegan crackers or vegetables.
This may be mixed with some leftover black beans or pinto beans and stuffed into vegan pita bread halves with lettuce and a few rings of onion or cucumber for a wonderful sandwich.
