2 cups unsweetened frozen strawberries-may use fresh, but freezing releases
the juices better
1 cup dried, diced pineapple
Place pineapple in blender container. Bang strawberries against counter to break into large pieces, dump in on top of pineapple. Let the strawberries thaw for an hour or so, then process on medium speed until thick and quite smooth. Pour into 2 cup jar and chill. This should be thick enough to spread easily, kind of like a real thick apple butter.
This goes over well with everyone who has tried it, with most coming back for seconds and thirds.
