Stewpeas and Rice - Jamaican Style
1 cup of kidney beans
1/4 cup of dryed coconut cream
salt and pepper to taste
onion powder to taste
garlic powder to taste
seanoning salt to taste
Cook beans until they are soft. Add rest of the ingrediants. Cook until all blended together. Make sure the liquid does not dry out, you want it to be very watery because when cooled it will stay together.
Optional: Mix one cup of flour with a dash of salt and water and make dumplings. You can add dumplings after the beans are cooked with the rest of ingredients. Then cook stew until dumplings are done.
With the right amount of seaonings this dish will blow you away!
